Easter Weekend 2011

We had a fun Easter weekend with Bill's parents in town. They were in Minnesota for four nights, which made for a nice visit. We played a lot of games... I love Mary's face here - not happy with her brother's last card pick. Candy Land can be rough!
We had a "girls day" and split up from the guys for a while. I took Mary and Nana Carole to "Truffles and Tortes" in downtown Anoka for lunch. It was soooo yummy. Check out the dessert counter!

Mary loves her Nana Carole!

We dyed eggs...

Remember the ol' shrink wrap eggs? Dip 'em in boiling water... and wa-lah!

We spent Saturday at the Minnesota Children's Museum in St. Paul - always fun! I had the kids wear their Dr. Seuss "Things 1,2, and 3" shirts - it made them easy to spot. :)

LEGO Castles were on exhibit!

Bubbles!

Takin' a break for lunch!

Daddy - in the ant tunnels!

Easter morning - after finding their baskets hidden around the house. :)

...and ready for church!

Mary and Nana Carole - Mary wore the pearls that were given to her as a baby, by Tom and Carole, for her dedication.

Majestic Oaks Golf Club for lunch - with the entire Anderson/Fields gang

We went back to my parents' home for the rest of the day. The guys took the kids downstairs to play while Bill and David ran around outside hiding eggs for the hunt!

Mary was our Easter bunny! She had this idea on her own, and kept insisting to her brothers that she was going to be a bunny for the egg hunt. We found this little costume and it looked so cute on her! I, too, was a bunny around her same age... so it was fun. :) Hunting for eggs!

There were two "prize" eggs with dollars in them. One was pretty well-camouflaged in my trailer hitch!

Ivan ended up finding both prize eggs!

When we got home, Nana Carole had a surprise for the kids - handmade and personalized pillow cases. :) Thanks for coming out, Tom and Carole. We love you and sure enjoyed having you here with us for Easter!
