From one end of the Force to another...

WELL... here we go... off from the "Wild Blue Yonder" and into the Guard world (part time, that is). Bill will check in with his new unit up in Fargo, ND after the first week of June... and our world is going to completely change from what we have known as a married couple. Is it me - or is the Air National Guard's logo not as patriotic looking (although it is quite aerodynamic) as the Air Force's wings? We have had ten great years with Bill serving in active duty, and it is difficult to say, "Goodbye." We have made life-long friendships, and have even had the pleasure of serving two assignments with some friends - a rare treat.

As we leave Keesler Air Force Base and our friends in the 45th Airlift Squadron, we smile at the many wonderful memories made, and look ahead to what God is preparing for Bill in the Guard and for our family as we settle down in Minnesota.
God bless our active duty friends. We will miss you. God bless the U.S.A.
