After going back and forth on where we'd be living, we finally decided on Meadow Creek for our boys. The neat thing about this is that MCCS is where I went to school for 13 years: K-12. Lots of memories in that old building for me! I honestly began not wanting them there (just to try something new... for them), but am really happy with how it's turned out. It's like visiting family each morning! Some of my old teachers are still there, and some of my classmates are now teachers. It's a lot of fun for the kids... and for mommy too.
Here's the gang - 1st day, 2009! Grant is starting 1/2 day Kindergarten and Ivan is in the 1st grade. Mary gets to spend some quality time with mommy each day and we love having a little "girl time" all to ourselves. :)

Mrs. Hale is his teacher this year. Later that day, Ivan said, "I obeyed her, Mom, and didn't get any marks!"
Grant with two of his new best buddies: Raymond and Charlie. Since he is only 1/2 day, Mary and I get to pick him up first and have lunch together.
Then we pick up Ivan in the afternoon. He came running out when he saw us, and they all hugged... it was pretty cute. We had a great start to our first year at "The Creek."
