Happy Father's Day

We celebrated with Bill this morning. I love how kids, no matter how much they say they can, are completely incapable of keeping secrets. We came down this morning and surprised Bill with a new gym bag (with a jump rope wrapped up inside), and some sport bike magazines. Ivan bursts out with, "And there's a jump rope in it!" Grant then yells, "And we're going to make you some cinnamon rolls!" It was cute. They could hardly contain their excitement.

Bill and the boys just left for church... by themselves. Mary has a nasty cold, so I'm staying at home with her. We had big plans for a lunch out after church to celebrate... but it may be a little more low-key today, since our little gal is a bit of a mess.

So, Happy Father's Day to all you dads, and thank you for all you do for us! Dad and Tom, we love you and are very thankful for the wonderful examples you are to us and to our kids as well. Enjoy your special day and we're sending lots of hugs your way!

LOVE your blog and all the great photos. Mary is just the cutest thing, oh my word, I love those curls! Reminds me of Hayley when she was little....looks like you are all settling in well in MS - don't forget about your WA friends. :)
