"Farewell" with a cup of tea

On Saturday, we had a spouses' going-away for our commander's wife, DeAnni. The 45th is sure going to miss them; I know our family will. The AF is such a small world sometimes. We had served with their family in Alabama, two assignments ago, and were so excited to hear that they were coming to Mississippi last year. Ivan and their son, Jack, have been great little buddies... we've already seen some tears, and I'm sure there will be more. God bless your family in Oklahoma!
The 45th AS spouses (minus a few!)
Sarah, Melissa, DeAnni, Katie, Mary Kay, Cindy
Me, Heather, Alexis, and Kristin

What kind of plane is your husband currently flying? Any chance he will get to do C17s and go to Charleston? Thanks for posting! It is always so fun to read about what is going on with you guys!

He's flying the C-21. We just left the C-17s in McChord! Probably not in our future... but you never know. : )
