As if there isn't enough on our plates!

Hurricane Gustav 2008: Residents of the gulf coast and especially those of New Orleans are looking for the most up to date information to help them track Hurricane Gustav's projected path. Computer models current projections put Hurricane Gustav on course to make landfall very close to the city of New Orleans as a category 3 hurricane. This 2008 hurricane comes on the three-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina's devastating landfall on New Orleans. Hurricane Katrina was also a category 3 storm. Please keep our family and the entire Gulf Coast in prayer as we prepare for the unknown of this coming weekend. Our commander's wife called about an hour ago and said that the evacuation call will be made by Friday. If we are to go, we'll leave Saturday morning for Montgomery or Birmingham, Alabama... and stay until further notice. Most of the guys will be flying the jets out of here, so it will be predominantly the spouses and children on the road together.

This is probably Bill's last weekend before he deploys... we were really hoping to spend it together. I know that God promises not to give us more than we can handle - I'm confident of that. ... Just feeling a little like my "plate" has made a hefty visit to the all-you-can-eat buffet! I'll update as we hear about the storm's progress.
