Soccer season has begun!

This year we signed the boys up for Upward Soccer. It is a national ministry, and it's... drum roll please... FREE for any kid with a deployed parent! Bill was in town for their skills evaluation day, but that's all he'll get to see this year. The part that really stinks, is that this is Grant's first season in an organized sport. But, we are thankful that he was there for the beginning... here are a few pictures from that day.

Here they are tightening up those cleats. Mary was a big help! It sure was nice to have Dad in town for this exciting day! It's a bummer he has to miss the rest of the season. I'm sure Ivan and Grant will have a lot to tell him about!
